Iran Supports Palestinian Unity Efforts

| Tehran, May 4 (KCNA) -- Head of Iran's Majlis (Parliament) National Security and Foreign Policy Commission Alaeddin Boroujerdi said in an interview with a TV radio Tuesday that Tehran supports reconciliation between Palestinian political parties Hamas and Fatah. Fatah and Hamas reached an agreement on reconciliation, he said, adding this development is a leap forward towards the decline of the Zionist regime (of Israel). The United States and its allies are not pleased with the agreement reached between Fatah and Hamas, he said. |
