Prosecution's Flattery to Power Accused in S. Korea
Pyongyang, May 6 (KCNA) -- The south Korean newspaper Hangyore on May 2 carried an editorial censuring the prosecution for its base act of fawning on the conservative power. It said:

The prosecution indicted members of the Teachers Trade Union and the Government Employees Union en masse for their relation with the Democratic Labor Party last year. And it appealed against the judgment of acquittal given to them in January this year.

In the meantime, it hushed up the recent case of a teacher related to the "Grand National Party", claiming that there was nothing particular and the period allowed for appeal had passed.

Recalling the facts, the editorial said that such behaviors show the attitude of the prosecution studying only the pleasure of the power.

It urged the prosecution to lend an ear to the popular masses' opinion.
