Entertainment Facilities Modernized
Pyongyang, May 5 (KCNA) -- Recreation grounds, parks, theaters and many other entertainment facilities have been constructed or reconstructed throughout the DPRK in recent years.

Mt. Myohyang has more climbing routes and pavilions and the Hyangsan Hotel was reconstructed. In the Majon Recreation Ground, a hotel was built and the bathing resort improved.

A road, tens of kilometers long, leading to Mt. Jangsu in South Hwanghae Province appeared and climbing paths and bridges came into being in the mountain.

The Ryongaksan, Paekunsan, Sokam, Songdowon and Waudo pleasure grounds have undergone a facelift.

The light-decorated Kaeson Youth Park has modern amusement and service facilities.

A funfair was built on the banks of the Jangja River in Kanggye City.

The Central Zoo in Pyongyang has been reconstructed to help visitors enjoy animals from other countries in natural circumstances. The zoo has a well-equipped veterinary hospital.

Among the newly built or reconstructed theaters and cinemas throughout the country are the State Theatre, Pyongyang Grand Theater, North Hwanghae Provincial Art Theater, Songdowon Youth Open-Air Theater and Taedongmun Cinema.
