Quakes Hit Kazakhstan and Taiwan

| Pyongyang, May 5 (KCNA) -- An earthquake measuring 5.5 on the Richter scale jolted Kazakhstan on May 1. The epicenter was 76 km northeast of Almaty. The earthquake continued four times. Another quake measuring 5 on the Richter scale jolted Yilan County, Taiwan on April 30. The epicenter was about 8 km away from the county seat. |
