Anti-US Demo Staged in Syria

Pyongyang, May 5 (KCNA) -- Hundreds of Syrians of different strata staged a demonstration outside the U.S. embassy in Damascus on May 1 to protest against the U.S. interference in Syria's internal affairs.

They strongly urged the U.S. to promptly halt its interference in the country's internal affairs, shouting anti-U.S. slogans and holding flags bearing letters critical of the U.S. human rights abuses in Iraq, Afghanistan and other countries.

They also severely condemned the U.S. for patronizing Israel's criminal actions against Palestinians.
