Meetings and demonstrations were held in Moscow on the initiatives of "United Russia" Party, "A Just Russia", the Communist Party of the Russian Federation, the Liberal Democratic Party and other political parties and organizations.

About 25,000 people of broad strata participated in the demonstration organized by "United Russia" Party.

Demonstrations were also staged in Yekaterinburg, Yakutsk, Volgograd, Khabarovsk and other cities.
