S. Korean Workers Stage Anti-"government" Actions
Pyongyang, May 3 (KCNA) -- A huge rally for judging the traitorous regime was held in Seoul on Sunday, May Day, with more than 20,000 members of the south Korean Confederation of Trade Unions attending.

Speakers at the rally accused the present "government" of pursuing an extremely pro-tycoon policy, bringing profits to the privileged circles and ruthlessly bleeding the workers white.

The recent by-election showed once again the people's resentment at the present regime, they said, calling for judging the traitorous regime through the unity of the progressive forces and building a society in which workers are respected.

At the end of the rally its participants staged a demo.

The south Korean Federation of Trade Unions also held a rally in Seoul to shatter the suppression of the labor movement and demand a total revision of the Law on Trade Unions.

Meanwhile, the two organizations issued a joint declaration on the situation denouncing the authorities' misrule.

They warned that the present regime will face strong anti-"government" actions of workers unless they make an apology to the people for having driven the people's livelihood into destitution through its pro-tycoon policy.

At least 600 members of the KCTU held a rally at the plaza of Seoul Railway Station on April 30 demanding a wage hike and abolition of part-time job.
