Japan Accused of Failing to Draw Lesson from Chernobyl Accident

| Moscow, April 30 (KCNA) -- The first deputy general manager of the Rosenergoatom Company of Russia at a press conference on April 26 criticized Japan for failing to draw a lesson from the accident at the Chernobyl Nuclear Power Plant. Japan has not coped with the accident at the Fukushima Nuclear Power Plant because it failed to draw a lesson from the Chernobyl accident, he noted, adding that Japanese did not regard it necessary to make preparations to eradicate the aftermath of the accident. |
