PLO Rejects US Warnings

| Pyongyang, May 2 (KCNA) -- Saeb Erekat, a member of the Executive Committee of the Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO), resolutely rejected the U.S. warnings on April 28. The U.S. threatened to apply sanctions against the Palestinians, taking issue with the efforts of the Palestinian National Authority to achieve national unity. In this regard he said that it is a vital issue for the Palestinians to achieve national unity. This position will be supported by the international community, he added. |
