He clarified China's resolute opposition to Japan disregarding the objective reality in China which keeps to the path of peaceful development and pursues national defence policy. He also blamed Japan for hyping up the "military threat from China."

As for the test flight of stealth fighter "J-20", he said that the development of armed equipment of the Chinese army is not targeted against any country and specific aim, adding that the outside world should refrain from excessive assumption and interpretation about China's test of armed equipment.
