Worldwide Serious Famine

Pyongyang, May 1 (KCNA) -- The increase of number of famine victims in many countries arouses serious concern.

The U.N. Food and Agriculture Organization said on Tuesday that hunger affects 13 percent of the population.

Food prices hit a record high early this year.
