Lebanon Condemns Israel for Its Moves to Expand Settlements

| Pyongyang, April 25 (KCNA) -- The Lebanese permanent representative to the United Nations, speaking at an open debate of the UN Security Council on Thursday, strongly condemned Israel for its moves to expand Jewish settlements. The deliberate choice of Israel to continue expanding settlements undermined the Middle East peace process, he charged. He called on the UN Security Council to "compel Israel" to abide by the responsibilities under international law. |
