The statement said that Kim Il Sung is the great leader of Korea who fathered the immortal Juche idea, prominent statesman in the world and the iron-willed commander and gifted strategist who defeated the two U.S. and Japanese imperialisms.

He set out the principles and line on building socialism and, through steadfast implementation of them, successfully built the Korean-style socialist system centered on the popular masses and advanced correct lines on the world revolution including the lines for anti-U.S. struggle and global independence, it said, adding:

The Juche idea founded by him serves as the guideline for the progressives in the struggle for national liberation and class and human emancipation and gives us strength and courage.
