S. Korean Puppet Police's Human Rights Abuses Denounced

| Pyongyang, April 21 (KCNA) -- More than 20 civic and public organizations of south Korea including the People for Achieving Peace and Reunification and the south Korean Confederation of Trade Unions at a news conference held outside the puppet Seoul District Prosecutor's Office on April 15 condemned the police for their human rights abuses. At the news conference the organizations accused the police of brutally beating Yang Yun Mo who was struggling against the construction of a naval base on Jeju Island and walking him off on April 6. They demanded the police thoroughly investigate their human rights abuses and severely punish those involved in them. |
