Scientists and technicians of the Center succeeded in developing the method of applying plant-growth hormone solution to the cultivation of the above-said flowers and "Chonghwa", substance for keeping them fresh. They are conducting brisk activities to disseminate them to all cultivation units.

They deepened the researches, prompted by their desire to keep Kimilsungia in fuller bloom, obtaining scientific data on the amount of concentration and application of hormone solution. The application of this method at various units led to boosting the blooming rate of flowers more than 1.5 times that in the past.

As a result, not only horticulturists but also flower lovers have become able to keep Kimilsungia in full bloom on the occasion of the April spring holiday.

Meanwhile, the newly developed substance for keeping Kimjongilia fresh is greatly helpful to successfully cultivating the flower.

By applying the above-said substance various units have become able to keep the colors of Kimjongilias and their leaves more beautiful and maintain their freshness for a long time.
