| Pyongyang, April 14 (KCNA) -- Ro Un Ok, 24, belonging to the April 25 Sports Team took the first place in the IAAF-24th Mangyongdae Prize Marathon held in Pyongyang on April 10 to commemorate President Kim Il Sung's birth anniversary, April 15. She learned marathon at a juvenile sports school in North Phyongan Province and became an up-and-coming marathoner in her teens. She won the women's marathon race held in Juche 98(2009) and distinguished herself in other national tournaments. |
