Event Held at DPRK Embassy in Moscow
Pyongyang, April 14 (KCNA) -- A reception was given at the DPRK embassy in Moscow on April 11 to commemorate the birth anniversary of President Kim Il Sung.

Present there on invitation were Vice Foreign Minister Aleksei Borodavkin, deputies to the State Duma, members of the Federation Council, the former defense minister of the Soviet Union and personages of political parties, the government and organizations of Russia.

Ambassador Kim Yong Jae and officials of the DPRK embassy in Moscow were on hand.

The participants laid floral baskets and bouquets before the full-length picture of Kim Il Sung and General Secretary Kim Jong Il. They looked round the photos on display under the theme of "Valuing National Cultural Heritages" and "All Life Dedicated to People".

Kim Yong Jae said at the reception that Kim Il Sung was the greatest man as he devoted all his life to the country and happiness of the people and the human cause of independence.

He expressed the will to strive for development of the friendly and cooperative relations between the two countries.

Aleksei Borodavkin said that the Russia-DPRK relations of friendship and cooperation provided by Kim Il Sung have long-standing tradition and solid foundation.

He stressed the need to boost the bilateral cooperation on the basis of the agreement reached between the top leaders of the two countries and the treaty between the two countries.

There was a performance by the Academy Ensemble of the Interior Unit of the Russian Ministry of Interior.
