Total plottage of the building is more than 10,000 square meters, and it has lecture rooms of several faculties, laboratories, etc.

President Kim Il Sung visited the college several times right after the liberation of the country and taught that excellent building be built in the future. In the postwar period he wisely led the work to construct more modern building.

General Secretary Kim Jong Il visited the college in November last year to clearly indicate the way to be followed by it and took measures to finish the construction of new building as soon as possible.

A ceremony of commissioning the building took place Wednesday.

Present there were Kim Yong Jin, chairman of the Education Commission, Song Ja Rip, president of Kim Il Sung University and concurrently minister of Higher Education, and others.
