Condemning the Israeli escalation of military attacks on Gaza Strip that claimed the lives of innocent Palestinians including children, he urged the Israeli authorities to immediately halt all military actions.

He also called upon the international community to take tangible and swift steps to realize the desired objective to create an independent and viable Palestinian state at the borders of 1967.
