Drain Closed Up at Huichon Power Station No. 2

| Pyongyang, April 12 (KCNA) -- A project for building dam for Huinchon Power Station No. 2 was finished in the DPRK, successfully closing up its drain on April 9. This vast project was carried out in a little more than two years since its ground breaking. As a result, the River Chongchon stopped its flow, making it possible to store enough water needed for electricity production. This also opened a bright prospect for accelerating the operation of the station. |
