The Order of DPRK Friendship 1st Class was conferred on Zhang Jingrong, a Chinese businessman who sacrificed himself to save Korean girls while working in the DPRK, and the Order of DPRK Friendship 2nd Class on Yuan Xingwang, his colleague.

A ceremony of awarding the orders took place at the Mansudae Assembly Hall on Tuesday.

Present there were Yang Hyong Sop, vice-president of the Presidium of the Supreme People's Assembly, officials concerned and Wang Zhilin, economic and commercial councilor of the Chinese embassy here.
