Doctorate Conferred on Overseas Koreans

| Pyongyang, April 11 (KCNA) -- Doctorate in medicine of the DPRK was conferred on Yun Sang Hyok, a Korean doctor in the U.S., and doctorate in history on Kim Song Jun, a Korean teacher in China. Yun contributed to the development of external medicine through research into the remedy for spine while Kim to systematizing in a scientific and theoretical way the law that governs the development of the traditional music of Korea. A ceremony of awarding academic degrees took place at the Mansudae Assembly Hall on Monday. |
