Mangyongdae, Native Place of Kim Il Sung
Pyongyang, April 11 (KCNA) -- An endless stream of people, including servicemen and schoolchildren, have visited Mangyongdae with the approach of President Kim Il Sung's birth anniversary (April 15).

Mangyongdae is a historic place where President Kim Il Sung was born and relics associated with his family members' revolutionary activities are well preserved.

The Mangyongdae Revolutionary Museum houses historic materials and relics showing that the President grew up to be a great revolutionary, educated by his parents in a patriotic and revolutionary way.

Preserved in his old home are old millstone, distorted jar, mended water jar and farming tools used by his family.

Many foreigners are seen among the visitors.

According to data available, more than 124.5 million people have visited the place since the President returned home in triumph after the liberation of the country from the Japanese colonial rule in 1945.
