The speakers at the rally recalled that Japan has not yet made a proper apology and reparation to the victims who underwent all sorts of misfortune and pain due to the Japanese imperialists.

What is more painful is that the remains of those who died after being taken to Japan and various other countries are still left scattered there, they deplored.

They noted that Japan has claimed dominium over Tok Islets and tampered with its history, bringing its true colors as the sworn enemy of the Korean nation into bolder relief.

They demanded Japan make an apology to the victims and their families and pay full reparation for its past crimes.
