A machine-building factory in Pyongyang manufactured effective ice-chipping machines and supplied them to public catering establishments in the city.

Every district of the city has built an ice production base and made full preparations, including supply of raw materials, for serving shaved ice.

The city organized a shaved ice exhibition some time ago to improve the service.
