Japan's Distortion of History Protested in S. Korea
Pyongyang, April 6 (KCNA) -- Superintendents of education in provinces and cities of south Korea released a joint resolution on March 30, strongly protesting against the Japanese authorities' distortion of history.

In the resolution they charged that the Japanese government passed through screening the textbooks containing Japan's "dominium" over Tok Islets, more openly revealing its scheme to grab the islets.

It is an immutable fact that the islets are a territory pertaining to the Korean nation both in light of history and international law, they said.

They demanded that the authorities of Japan cancel its "claim" to Tok Islets, honestly inform its people of the historical fact about the islets and educate them in it.

They declared that they would concentrate all efforts on educational activities for defending the islets.
