The festival will draw many artistes from China, Russia, Ukraine, Bulgaria and some other countries. Korean artistes at home and abroad will also participate in the festival.

Its preparations are now in full swing.

The Ryugyong Jong Ju Yong Gymnasium, the venue of the opening ceremony, has been garnished splendidly.

The Pyongyang Grand Theater, the Moranbong Theater and other theaters in Pyongyang have renewed stage settings and illuminators.

An opening performance of Korean artistes, friendship gathering and sports and amusement games for the participants are also planned.

Festival posters have already been issued and diplomas and prizes are ready.

During the festival, its participants will tour various places of the country.
