The Russian paper Vladivostok carried an article with the beaming image of the President on March 25.

The article went on:

Kim Il Sung, the father of socialist Korea, was the popular leader, indeed.

Believing in the people as in Heaven was motto which the President held fast to all his life from the very day he embarked on the road of the struggle for the country and the people.

The President founded the Juche idea in the early period of his revolutionary activities and put forward the Juche-oriented line of the Korean revolution based on it.

The Korean people defeated the U.S. imperialists in the Fatherland Liberation War for the first time in history, carried out the historic task of industrialization in a matter of 14 years and converted the country into a socialist power independent in politics, self-supporting in economy and self-reliant in national defence. These were the miracles the President wrought by giving full play to the inexhaustible strength of the popular masses.

The President was the tender-hearted father of the people.

The Korean people boundlessly revere the President, always remembering him.

The Bangladeshi paper Natun Bangla on March 28 devoted one whole page to a portrait of the President and several articles under the banner-line title "President Kim Il Sung, the great man of the century."
