According to the plan, China will specifically target dairy products, edible oils, health-promoting food, meat, food additives and alcohol in its food safety campaign this year.

A leading official of the Food Safety Commission Office under the State Council said that it is urgent to settle the outstanding problems arising in this work, adding that various measures would be taken to ensure the qualitative security of important foodstuffs.
