Cambodian PM Expresses Concern over Arms Race in World
Pyongyang, April 1 (KCNA) -- Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Sen said Monday weaponry race among some countries in the world has increased and cost a great amount of money every year.

"Arms race has not declined at all; it's on the rise in the world today since the collapse of the former-Soviet Union, known as the end of the Cold War," he said during a graduation ceremony.

He said recently the U.S. recognized that it has spent 100 billion U.S. dollars a year in the war in Afghanistan. If the money were used to build among the U.S., or to help developing countries, it would be great assistance for development," he added.
