US Human Rights Abuses Blasted by Cuban Paper
Havana, March 30 (KCNA) -- The Cuban paper Granma on March 25 carried an article blasting U.S. human rights abuses at the U.S. prisons.

Two of the three prisoners in the U.S. are immigrants who were arrested on charge of violation of the Immigration Law, it said, and went on:

The U.S. government inflicts penalties upon them and treats them like ordinary criminals after putting them in convict clothes and chains. They are given just one third of the food to be served.

Prison conditions are baffling description. 50 prisoners are detained in a small ill-ventilated room at some prisons.
