Ever-developing Martial Arts
Pyongyang, March 30 (KCNA) -- The 4th International Martial Arts Games took place in Estonia in February.

Participating in the games were players from tens of countries, including the DPRK, Russia, Germany, Italy and Iran. Matches were held in nine events such as Taekwon-Do, karate, pankration and muaythai and demonstrations in eight events.

The games clearly showed that martial arts was ever developing in the world, drawing greater public interest.

Martial arts games are conducive to boosting friendship and cooperation among martial arts players, promoting health and building a peaceful, new world.

The International Martial Art Games Commission was organized in September Juche 88 (1999).

It has embraced many international and national martial arts organizations.

Its headquarters is in Pyongyang and the first international martial arts games took place in the DPRK in 2004.
