In a political report adopted at the meeting of its General Council held in Brazil from Mar. 17 to 20, the Federation said:

The Federation expresses deep concern at the fact that the inter-Korean relations were brought to total collapse and a grave situation in which a nuclear war may break out anytime is prevailing again on the Korean Peninsula due to the U.S. and south Korean authorities' unprecedented moves for confrontation with the DPRK.

Scathingly condemning the U.S. anachronistic hostile policy toward the DPRK, it strongly demands that the U.S. unconditionally stop the war exercises for aggression bringing the dark clouds of nuclear war to the peninsula and withdraw its troops and war equipment from south Korea at once.

A 2011 action plan was adopted at the meeting. The plan called for supporting the Korean people's cause of national reunification and intensifying the solidarity activities against the anti-DPRK war moves by the U.S. imperialists and the south Korean puppet warmongers with the 11th anniversary of the June 15 North-South Joint Declaration and the June 25-July 27 month of anti-U.S. joint struggle as occasions.
