Concerns about Nuclear Power Plants Grow in US
Pyongyang, March 24 (KCNA) -- The concerns have grown about the nuclear power plants in the U.S. in the wake of the explosions at the nuclear power plant in Japan.

Cuban newspaper Granma said on Mar. 18 that 35 out of 104 nuclear reactors in the U.S. are similar to those that caused trouble in Japan.

An expert of the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Committee said that the internal structure of some nuclear reactors in the U.S. is so fragile as to break like a glass cup under the earthquake pressure.

The focus of the discussion in the U.S. is whether it can handle the emergency in case it has an accident similar to what happened in Japan.
