Climate Information Activities
Pyongyang, March 23 (KCNA) -- The Hydro-meteorological Service of the DPRK provides information about climate change on a regular basis.

The service, in cooperation with agricultural scientists, predicts the growth of crops to help agricultural farms throughout the country take necessary measures in farming.

It disseminates scientific and technological information, including yearly weather forecast, multimedia on the climate of Korea and agricultural e-map on climate.

It also informs relevant organs of possible high and low temperature, heavy rain, tidal wave and landslide so that they can carry on management activities on a scientific basis.

Meanwhile, mass media of the DPRK have provided people with knowledge of climatic change according to the theme of the World Meteorological Organization "Climate for You". March 23 is the World Meteorological Day.
