In a statement on March 17 it said that the U.S. drone aircraft fired missiles Thursday, killing at least 40 innocent civilians in the country's northwest tribal area of North Waziristan. This is not only unacceptable but also a flagrant violation of all humanitarian rules and norms.

The statement demanded that the U.S. hold full responsibility and make an apology.
