Present there were defense ministers of Russia, China, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and Kazakhstan and SCO representatives.

The meeting exchanged views on the issue of developing the military cooperation among member nations and on international and regional matters of mutual concern.

At the end of the meeting a communique was made public and a 2012-2013 cooperation plan signed.
