Moran Hill in Spring
Pyongyang, March 21 (KCNA) -- As spring has fairly set in, an increasing number of people are enjoying themselves in Moran Hill in Pyongyang.

The picturesque hill has many relics telling ancient legends about the long history of Pyongyang.

There are the crane-shaped Ulmil Pavilion and the Pubyok Pavilion conveying a story of a famous poet who broke off his writing brush finally after he failed to compose a poem of the hill scenery.

The Chongnyu and Choesung pavilions and the Chilsong Gate in the hill commands a panoramic view of Pyongyang.

The hill has facilities for such folk games as swinging and ssirum (Korean wrestling).

Around the hill are Kim Il Sung Stadium, Arch of Triumph, Moranbong Theater, Moran Restaurant and Kaeson Youth Park.
