Kwangjong Revolutionary Site
Pyongyang, March 21 (KCNA) --The revolutionary site in Kwangjong-ri, Sungho County, North Hwanghae Province, is associated with the revolutionary activities of Kim Hyong Jik.

He devoted himself to the struggle for the independence of the country and the freedom and emancipation of the people.

He visited the village several times between 1911 and 1921 to conduct energetic activities for liberating the country from the Japanese colonial rule.

He inspired the villagers with the spirit of national independence and anti-Japanese patriotic ideas and aroused them in the struggle for the country's liberation.

He formed the Kwangjong Association, a legitimate organization, and led its members to store up grain reserves and grasp the conditions of major ferries.

In the revolutionary site there are a swinging site where Kim Hyong Jik enlightened women fettered by feudal customs and a ssirum (Korean wrestling) site where he gave military knowledge to young people and inspired them with national pride.

Many people have visited the revolutionary site on the occasion of the 94th anniversary of the Korean National Association formed by him.
