Actions against Building of Naval Base on Jeju Island Launched

Pyongyang, March 19 (KCNA) -- An all-islanders measure committee for checking the building of a military base on Jeju of south Korea held a rally on Jeju Island on March 14 denouncing the authorities for their moves to build the naval base on the island.

At the rally speakers accused the Jeju Island Assembly of supporting the authorities in their move to build the naval base on the island.

They stressed that all the people on the island would stage actions against the building of the naval base by their concerted efforts.
