U.S.-S. Korea War Maneuvers Termed Criminal Act
Pyongyang, March 18 (KCNA) -- The 10th issue of the Russian newspaper Patriot warned in a commentary that the U.S. and the south Korean authorities would be held wholly accountable for all the consequences to be entailed by their joint military maneuvers.

The U.S.-south Korea joint military exercises are a blatant challenge to the DPRK and an unpardonable criminal act of driving the situation to the brink of war again, the commentary noted, and continued:

The joint saber-rattling is a very dangerous fuse which poses a grave threat to the DPRK and may spark off an all-out war on the Korean Peninsula.

The prevailing situation proves that the south Korean authorities do not wish to improve the relations with the DPRK and preserve peace on the peninsula but are only pursuing confrontation and war against it.

The DPRK will strongly react against the vicious moves of the U.S. and south Korean authorities to escalate confrontation and war rackets against it.
