S. Korea, Biggest Importer of American Weapons

Pyongyang, March 17 (KCNA) -- The Stockholm International Peace Research Institute in Sweden in its annual report said that south Korea is the biggest importer of U.S.-made weapons, according to the south Korean Yonhap News on Mar. 14.

American weapons imported by the south Korean authorities held 71 percent of all the weapons they purchased from abroad in the period from 2006 to 2010.
