Kim Jong Il Inspects Factory under KPA Navy Unit
Pyongyang, March 16 (KCNA) -- Supreme Commander of the Korean People's Army Kim Jong Il, general secretary of the Workers' Party of Korea and chairman of the National Defence Commission of the DPRK, inspected a factory under KPA Navy Unit 597.

After receiving a salute, he went round a room devoted to the history of the factory, conducted by its leading officials.

Going round historical relics and data associated with the undying leadership feats of President Kim Il Sung, he looked back with deep emotion on those unforgettable historical days.

The factory could cover the path of shining victory thanks to his meticulous guidance and loving care, Kim Jong Il said, calling on the workers of the factory to always keep deep in their mind the loving care shown by the President.

He watched information about workers and technicians who creditably fulfilled their revolutionary duties while working at the factory for a long time and merited persons in the Songun era who did many good things for society and the collective. He highly appreciated their patriotism.

He then went round several places of the factory, learning in detail about the technological equipment and production.

Impregnable is the homeland as there is the inexhaustible strength of the army and people of the DPRK who are working hard to defend and glorify the most advantageous socialist system, he said.

He advanced important tasks to serve as guidelines in the management and operation of the factory.

He expressed the expectation and conviction that the workers of the factory would as ever remain loyal to the Songun leadership of the WPK. He had a photo session with the labor innovators of the factory.

Accompanying him were Kim Jong Un, vice-chairman of the Central Military Commission of the WPK, Jang Song Thaek, alternate member of the Political Bureau of the C.C., the WPK and vice-chairman of the NDC, KPA Generals Jong Myong Do, Hyon Chol Hae and Ri Myong Su and KPA Col. General O Chol San.
