Probe into Truth behind Corruption and Irregularities Urged in S. Korea
Pyongyang, March 16 (KCNA) -- It was disclosed that the clan of the chief executive of south Korea faked up a "letter case" to conceal the truth about the "BBK stock price case", sparking public furor, said the March 11th issue of the south Korean Segye Ilbo.

According to it, when the chief executive was elected as "presidential" candidate, Kim Kyong Jun disclosed the "BBK stock price case."

In order to cover up the case, the conservative ruling forces including the "Grand National Party" totally denied it, saying that it is a "premeditated plot to give impact on the presidential election". Timed to coincide with this, his colleague opened to the public a letter confirming the fact.

The prosecution charged Kim Kyong Jun with fraudulence, not confirming the truth about the letter, and declared others related to the case not suspicious.

The paper said that Sin Myong, younger brother of Sin Kyong Hwa, the original writer of the letter, testified to the fact: "The letter which was known to have been sent by my elder brother was written by me" and "the family of MB (Lee Myung Bak) masterminded the case."

If the prosecution concealed the case in which the family of the "presidential" candidate was involved, it is a grave neglect of duty, it said.

The truth should be probed though belatedly, it urged.
