Prices Rise in South Korea
Pyongyang, March 15 (KCNA) -- Various prices have sharply jumped for the last three years since the present authorities came to power, according to the Citizens Federation for Economic Justice of south Korea on Mar. 7.

According to it, cabbage price showed a 114. 2 percent increase while the prices of garlic, onion and pork jumped 89.8, 74.8 and 62.1 percent respectively in the period from February 2008 to February this year.

Prices of petrol, foodstuff, fruits and others also skyrocketed.

The federation said that right after taking office the present authorities selected 52 items directly related to the people's living and promised them to cut down their prices but failed to do so.
