Actions against Unpopular Labor Policy Launched in S. Korea
Pyongyang, March 12 (KCNA) -- The south Korean Confederation of Trade Unions (KCTU) and its affiliated organizations at a news conference in Seoul on March 7 declared that they would launch actions against the authorities' unpopular labor policy.

They in a press release deplored that part-time workers are not paid even minimum wages due to the authorities' misrule.

Women workers, in particular, have been subject to unfair treatment as regards jobs and wages since the emergence of the present regime, undergoing double and treble pain.

The organizations called for having their demands for wage hike and improved labor conditions met through actions.

The Women's Union under KCTU held a meeting in Seoul on the same day to declare its actions for winning the rights of the women workers.
