The guests looked round the tower and group of sculptures there, being briefed on the tower conveying to posterity the great ideological and theoretical exploits of President Kim Il Sung.

They went to the observation deck of the tower from where they commanded a bird's-eye view of Pyongyang.

They visited the Grand People's Study House and went round various reading rooms and lecture rooms.

They also enjoyed a performance given by the State Symphony Orchestra after visiting the Arch of Triumph, the Pyongyang Cultural Exhibition, the Changgwang Kindergarten, the Pyongyang Metro, the Taedonggang Beer Factory, etc.
