Lee Myung Bak Accused of Stoking Social Discord and Division
Pyongyang, March 10 (KCNA) -- The south Korean newspaper Hangyore carried an editorial on Mar. 5 accusing the chief executive of stoking discord and division in the south Korean society.

It referred to the fact that a photo of Lee Myung Bak and his wife praying together with their knees bent at a recent breakfast prayer meeting was made public, adding that this turned out to be an evil deed of stoking division and discord rather than making the people cooperate in harmony.

The Buddhist circle unanimously stood against it and Kaesin's excessive political meddling is causing uproar, it said, and went on:

Under the present "government" contradiction and discord among religious groups have reached a dangerous phase because the "president" appointed those guys having acquaintanceship with the Somang Religious Circle to important posts of Chongwadae and the Cabinet and those close to the "president" let loose a whole string of biased religious remarks, etc.

This notwithstanding, the "president" has persistently hung on the smiles of Kaesin, his political support base, far from coming out with a positive reconciliation measure.

The recent case is a product of Lee Myung Bak's pro-Kaesin acts.

It is the people before whom the "president" should bend his knees and sincerely beg. Aren't they?
