DPRK Pays Effort to Improving Tourism Infrastructure
Pyongyang, March 10 (KCNA) -- Good results have been made in improving the infrastructure of tourism in the DPRK in recent years, said a department director of the State General Bureau of Tourism.

Speaking to KCNA, Hong In Chol said the Central Zoo and Kaeson Youth Park in Pyongyang, Majon Hotel on the east coast, Hyangsan Hotel, Folk Street of Sariwon City and paths leading to the top of Mt. Myohyang in the western part of the country have been constructed or reconstructed.

The DPRK government took measures to facelift hotels and public catering establishments like Hyangsan Hotel and Okryu Restaurant and draw more tourists.

A folklore park is under construction at the foot of Mt. Taesong in Pyongyang to show the time-honored history and brilliant culture of the Korean nation.

Tourist and service facilities have been constructed in Rason, Kaesong and Lake Sijung and other areas.
