S. Korean Chief Executive's Remark Prompted by Sinister Intention
Pyongyang, March 10 (KCNA) -- The south Korean chief executive in his address on March 1 called for joining hands with Japan, not taking issue with its past crime.

His pro-Japanese remark was apparently prompted by a sinister intention to hurt the fellow countrymen in the north with the help of Japan.

In fact, south Korea and Japan are seeking military tie-up. Some time ago, the south Korean authorities discussed cooperating with Japan in the munitions industry and information gathering allegedly to cope with the north's "provocations".

The south Korean attempt for military cooperation with Japan has caused a anti-Japanese protest of south Korean people. In this context, the south Korean chief executive takes every chance to ease anti-Japanese public feelings and underscore the need to form a military alliance with Japan.
